What up peeps?! We are trying to move forward on the addition on our house, as much as possible. It aint easy! We cant get enough dry days in a row to pour concrete for the floor of our house, so instead of twiddling our thumbs til that happens, I'm trying to find an electritian to move our electrical box. This is one of many mundane little tasks that has to be done before we can frame the addition. So it should go something like this, move the electric box, pour the floor, frame the walls, install the windows and door, build interior walls, add plumbing fixtures, lay carpet & linolium, and presto...we're done! You might say, "oh, is that all?!" but if you knew what we've had to deal with so far, you'd be amazed at how close we've come. Once the addition is done, we'll live there for the next 3 or 4 years, and then move up with the house. We'll get a loan for the full amount and pay someone to build it for us. This build it yourself crap is for the birds.
Aside from that, school is getting ready to start again. I'm a little scared this semester. I didn't do very well in my last class and completely blanked on the final. I squeeked by and passed the class, but i'm kinda freaking out that this might happen again. I'm sure I'll be fine, but I have had a few sleepless nights since that last final.
I've got lots of pictures to show everybody, but I can't figure out how to make that slide show like a few of you have on your sites. Jen showed me the widget thing (I think thats what its called) where you can add things to your site. Could someone let me know how to do that so I can make my site more interesting?
Well, thats it for now. Later!

I'm glad you're having so much fun with the blog... I wouldn't hold your breath for Matt to post... He does go through and read all of them about every other week (he gets upset when I know more about what's going on with his friends than he does!)... You still need to come see our money pit, I mean new house...
I totally understand the construction headache of DIY remodeling. That has been what Mike & my parents have been doing since McCayla was a baby. It seems like a never ending project. But for now they are working on the interior part Plumbing, electrical so on and so forth.
Sounds like a lot of work! It's good you have a plan, and it will be great to see it through to the end!
When you gonna post again?
We haven't heard yet how the birthday party went.
